FATALITIES AND ACCIDENTS
THfiEE ACCIDENTS AT POET
ADELAIDE.
A busy day was experienced at ihe
Port Adelaide Casualty Hospital yester
day, when several persons who had n et!
with accidents were . attended. Err est
Perry, a middle-aged man, j*-sid;ng at
Cheltenham, was working an t^e Sema

to the Port Hospital, where it wate
found that he had received a stvere
scalp wound. A piece of the r,.an's felt

in the scalp. He was removed to the
Adelaide institution foT further attend
ance.
Jack Sears, a boy residing with Mi.
Kinder, of Kilkenny, was t mplov-id at
Messrs. Thomas' flour mill viien he fe™
off a stack of wliegt, with the result
that he is suffering from concussion of
tile brain. , He was detained at the
Casualty Hospital, after being aUt-nded
by Dr. "Cherry.
Mr. J. Griffiths, a returned scJdier,
was attended by Dr. Cherry Ira f ->vcre
laceration of one ear. which was almost
torn oH on the previous night. Several
stitches >■ were inserted, and the p;:tient
was allowed to proceed to Iiis home at
Liddon place, Portland.
