SOUTHERN TASMANIAN CAMERA
CLUB.
The usual fortnightly meeting of the
Southern Tasmanian Camera Club was
held at the club room, Temple Chambers,
on Wednesday evening. The chair was
occupied by Mr. E. Gifford, and there
was a good attendance of members.
Dr. Hodgkinson, assisted by Mr.
J. Chandler, gave an interesting demon-
stration of lantern-slide making by the
reduction and contact methods and ex-
plained and demonstrated the way of
making lantern slides by reduction. Mr.
Chandler explained the contact process.
The results that were obtained proved
most satisfactory, being screened before
the members.
Entries were received for the junior
landscape and the club's flower study
competitions. Mr. B.G. Hope gained
first and second place in the former;
the results for the latter are to be an-
nounced at next meeting.
On the motion of the Chairman the
demonstrators were accorded a hearty
vote of thanks.
