LETTERS to the Editor
In praise of
Parkwood eggs
Sir, - I am incensed that a local
producer, Parkwood Eggs, may be
forced to retrench its staff and move
interstate while Victorian eggs are
sold at a lower price in the ACT than
in Victoria.
Should this be allowed to happen
I shall have no option but to buy
local free-range eggs in order to
ensure that my family has the bene
fit of a fresh product.
I would not buy Victorian eggs
again because recently when my
major supplier in the Woden Plaza
discontinued Parkwood Eggs, I and
many other customers complained to
him about the poor quality of the
Victorian eggs, so much so that he
stocks Parkwood eggs once more.
Not only is the local egg better
and fresher, but Canberra con
sumers should remember that it
takes only one stale egg in two dozen
to neeate the aonarent savins
