Society for Growing Australian Plants meets on the 2nd
Thursday of each month at the Grifiin Centre. A speaker
is arranged for each meeting, garden grown native plants
are displayed and occasional outdoor excursions are
arranged.
Canberra Speleological Society arranges field trips almost
every weekend to areas within about 150 miles of Canberra.
These trips are planned at the monthly meetings held every
4th Thursday in the Coombs Building, Australian National
University.
Australian National University will possibly arrange a public
lecture on observatory work in September — D. Hobson
information.
