Dig ends;
no clue to
Beaumont
children
ADELAIDE, Tuesday.
— Digging at a Paringa
Park warehouse has
ended and no trace of
the three missing Beau-
mont children has been
found.
The area where Dutch
clairvoyant Mr Gerard Croi-
set, said the children were
buried has been excavated
to a depth of 12ft — the
depth at which he said the
bodies would be found.
The chairman of the Citi-
zen's Action Committee, Mr
G. R. Dawson, said tonight
one section of the specified
area could be dug deeper,
but digging could not con-
tinue outwards.
Independent
examination
Digging began last Wed-
nesday and, under an agree-
ment with the warehouse
owners, all excavations
must be complete and the
warehouse restored to its
original condition by March
24.
"It is not intended to ex-
cavate further", Mr Dawson
said. "I will make an inde-
pendent examination at 7.45
am tomorrow".
"If the floor area is such
that it cannot be turned
over by a spade it is my
guess that things will start
being placed back in order".
