A high-pressure nrca, central
pressure 1.019 millabars, Is
located over the south coast 01
Queensland and has a ridge to rbc
cast across the T.isman Sea. This
system is weakening ahead of a
south-westerly change now located
over western NSW.
A high-pressure cell, 1,024 milli
bars is centerd over the head of
the Bight, and already another
low-pressure system is moving cast
from south-west of Western Aus
tralia.
Expected developments: The
pressure systems are moving very
rapidly. The cooler south-westerly
change will have passed over
NSW within 24 hours but only
brief showers are expected and
these should be mostly in south
ern areas.
. The high from the Bight should
be centred over western NSW
today, bringing a' return to settled
conditions in most places. How
ever. there are signs that another
change would be imminent later
tomorrow.
