GERMANY BLEEDING TO
DEATH.
HER ONE HOPE.
NEW YORK, October 29.
The "New York Tribune," which has
shown a close study and unusual in-
sight into the war situation, declares
that Germany is. already beaten, and bleeding
to death.
The newspaper quoted draws a comparison
between her condition and that
of the Confederates in the American
civil war, and states that Germany's
one hope lies in her being able to make
peace this year. If she fails in her
peace efforts, her end is assured, I of
her defeat in the war is as certain as
was that of the Confederacy after the
Battle of Gettysburg. '
