SYDNEY, Monday. -By his flight from
Sydney to Melbourne and back in a Curtiss
biplane Mr W. J. Stutt, of the State Avia-
tion school, who made the return journey
to-day has established a record as far as
Australia is concerned. During his long
flight fiom Melbourne to Svdney he made
only one stop-at Cootamundra-thus estab-
lishing the long-distance record for Austra-
lia. Owing to engine trouble Mr Stutt was
compelled to leave at Cootamundra the pas-
