JOIN CHURCH ARMY
Farewell to Mr. R. Sansom
A social evening was tendered Mr.
Rc'io Sansom in the Parish hall oy the
members of St. George Guild of
Friends, prior to his departure for St.
Albans Boys' Home, "Morpeth," in the
Newcastle district. The Rev- R. V.
Rigby said that Rollo would be greatly
missed for his work in the church, and
on behalf of all present vished him
luck and success in his future sphere
of work in the church army. Mr.
George Moses, on behalf of members
of St. George Guild and friends, pre
sented Mr. Sansom with a tortoise shell
brush and comb and a cheque. Miss
Bevy Smith presented Mr. Sansom wivh
a cheque on behalf of the Bangalow
Younger Set, and thanked him for all
he had done for them
Mr Sar.',som responded and thanked
all for the good wishes and the gifts.
Dancing and games were enjoyed and
supper was served by theladies.
Misses Norma Beckinsale, Joan Hobbs
and Rev. R. V. Rigby were the organ
isers.
