LADIES' CRICKET MATCH.
ATALANTA V. NORTH BRUNY.
These olubs met on Saturday last on the
ground of the latter. The match ended in
uneasy victory for the'Atalanta by nine
wickots. MÍBS Madge Clemes showed ex-
cellent form with the willow, and Miss
Harris batted in good style, her contribution
being well earned for the winners. Miss E.
Denne, F. Young, and Mrs. Lindsay did
good work for the losers. The bawling was
done by the Misses Clemes (2), Innes, and
Holmwood for the Atalanta, and by the
Misses C. Denne and Davis (2) for the locals.
The fielding was good, that of the Misses
Harris and Innes (Atalanta) and the Misses
C. Denne and Tong (North Bruny) boing
especially noticeable. Messrs. Innes and
Davis gaveevery satisfaction as umpires. Ap-
