A contribution of £ 1,000 from the Ford Motor Company to the Gee- long and District War Funds Board makes the total amount promised to the board £39,828, of which £34,622 has been paid in.
INJURED IN FALL
Falling from a bicycle yesterday. Nancy Malley, 20, of Fenwick st.. Geelong, suffered a fractured nose and concussion.
FORMER FOOTBALLER'S DEATH
Mr. Denis Heagney, of Fyans st.. Chilwell, died yesterday. For some years he was a playing member of the Geelong Football Club. He was the Shop Assistants' Union repre- sentative on the Trades Hall Coun- cil.
BLOCK DELIVERY OF MILK
Geelong Retail Dairymen's Asso- ciation has almost completed the plan for the block delivery of milk, which will be brought into opera- tion early in April. The district has been zoned into 41 areas.
