'From the MuHine State Battery the following crushings are reported: — From P.A. 313, owned by J. Taylor, fr tons 'for 14ozs. 13dwts.; T. Cunning ham's lease, if tons for llozs. 17dwts. Tarrie State Battery:— The 'Wallaby, owned by. Mr. Bird, 25 tons for 53ozs. 4dwts.; Ricarby and Thomas' P.A.., 55% j tons, for 58ozs.; 4dwts.
QUINNS STATE BATTERY. The. erection of the -State Battery at (Quinns is about' to be put in hand, thc necessary contracts for cartage from Messenger's Patch to Yalgoo, and from Xannine to Quinns having been let. The cartage will occupy about four weeks' time, and the' constructing en gineer will leave Port Hedland for Quinns in about a week's time, in or der to supervise the1 work of, erection.
LINDEN STATE BATTERY. j As the ^experimental plant installed some time ago at Linden 'has' demons- trated that this district will probably rank among the, permanent sold pro ducers of the State, it has been decided to remove a ten-head mill from Kal pini to 'Linden. A cartage contract, which wilf occupy about seven weeks' time, has been let, and an overseer and draftsman are now on their way frorr' Kalpini; to , Linden. Steam as a motive power will be discarded in favor of a 45 h.p. gas-producer plant; a rosk breaker will be installed, together, with a belt conveyer. GREENBUSHES TIN. PLANT. - ? i' ' ?The tin 'plant at the'north end of the Greenbushes tin field, is about to be re moved to the ^junction of ' Salt Water and Floyd's Gullies, where it will be of :more general utility, than in its present site. The manager has been given in structions to dismantle the plant and effect the removal. ,
