A centenarian in the person of Mrs Annc Ncatc, of South Richmond, (lied on Satur day. Her actual age was 100 years and three months. Mrs Nacte was the daugh tor of the late Captain Brutton, of the mercantile marine, who died at sea many onars ago. She was borne in England on e'bruary 4, 1709, and arrived in Australia in the ship General Hewitt in 1856, landing at portland with her late husband and their six children, Until the beginning of this year Mrs Neate had enjoyed excellent hcalth. Up to that time her eyesight hadl been so wondlerfully good that sai was able to make her own clothes, and do her own sowing. For the ast few months she hadbeen bedridden. Irs Neate was the mother of eleven children. Her youngest son, who is still alive, is 62 years of age. Twelve of her grandchildren and eleven reat-grandchildren are at present living n Vietoria, and numerous others aresid pg out of the State,
