SANDHURST.

(FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.)

MONDAY EVENING.

A person named Samuel Fischer, a boot- maker by trade, but who professes ability to cure, by means of the curious process known as Baunscheidtism, most of the ills to which human flesh is heir, summoned another person who had placed himself in Mr. Fischer's       hands for treatment for the sum of £1 for "work and labour done." In reply to the   defendants solicitor, Mr. Fischer admitted that he was not a legally qualified practitioner, and the two justices who occupied the       bench held that the objection raised on this ground on behalf of the defendant was good, and that the plaintiff could not recover.

George Watson and Mary Blake, charged with having burglariously entered the premises of Mr. James Carmichael on the night   of the 7th February, and stolen boot-uppers   and other articles to the value of £50, were committed for trial at the court of assize to be held here on the 13th May.
