"Express," and "Chronicle" at a charge of
Two Shillings and Sixpence each when not

BIRTHS.
BADENOCH.—On the 30th October, at
"Narma," South-terrace, to Mr. and Mrs. A.
Badenoch, Commercial-road, Hyde Park—a daugh-
ter. Both well.
DREW.—On the 29th October, at Railway-
terrace, Petersburg, to Mr. and Mrs. Herb. Drew
—a son.
SANDERSON (nee Bratchell).—On the 1st
November, at Clematis, Addison-street, Black
Forest, to Mr. and Mrs. George Sanderson—a
daughter.
ALDENHOVEN.—On {he 4th November, at
Edithburgh, to Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Aldenhoven—
a son. Both well.
BADGER.—On the 21st October, to Mr. and
Mrs. J. M. Badger, of Port Augusta—a daughter.
MARRIAGES.
PHILLIPS—McFARLANE.—On the 22nd Septem-
ber, at St. Thomas' Church, Port Lincoln, by the
Rev. H. Longneville Snow, Earnest, the third
son of Mrs. James H. Phillips, of Marlborough-
street, College Park, to Jean Stirling, eldest
daughter of Robert M. McFarlane, of Port Lin-
coln.
JAFFREY—MUTTON.—On the 9th September,
at All Soul's Church, St. Peters, by Rev. W. G.
Murphy, Norman Tinley, fifth son of E. A.
Jaffrey, Glenelg, to Laura Melva, third daughter

MURPHY—O'BRIEN.—On the 6th November,
1889, at the Burra, by the Rev. J. Ashton, James,
son of P. Murphy, Kooringa, to Catherine Aim,
eldest daughter of the late P. O'Brien, Blumberg.

FINKELDE—MEIER.—On the 6th November,
1889, at the Flinders-street Lutheran Church, by
the Rev. Dorsch, Oswald Carl Finkelde, of
Crossen, Germany, to Anna Helena, youngest
daughter of W. and C. Meier, Stockwell, S.A.

DEATHS.
HODGE.—On the 4th November, at Bundaberg,
Queensland, Emily Sophia, beloved wife of L. M.
Hodge, daughter of Mrs. A. W. Dobbie, aged
32 years
SHEPPARD.—On the 5th November, at Walker-
ville-road, St. Peters, Emma, widow of the late
William Tyndall Sheppard, in her 77th year.
SWIFT.—On the 30th October, at Port Pirie
Hospital, of typhoid fever, Hannah (Bubs), the
beloved daughter of Joseph W. and Louisa Swift.
JENNISON.—At the Methodist Manse, Aberdeen,
of pneumonia, Georgina, the beloved wife of the
Rev. J. C. Jennison, aged 44 years.
GREEN.—On the 2nd November, at Norman-
ville, Sarah, dearly beloved wife of George Green,
aged 90 years. A colonist of 64 years. 308-10
EDDY.—On the 4th November, Nathaniel, only
and dearly beloved son of Mr. and Mrs. N. Eddy,
of Torrens-road, Brompton, the result of an acci-
dent, aged 41 years. 309-10
GOSS.—On the 5th November, George, the be-
loved husband of Jane Goss, of Mann-terrace,
North Adelaide, aged 78 years.
REDMAN.—On the 5th November, at Sydney
N.S.W. (suddenly), Robert Sheldon Redman, aged
36 years 6 months, fourth son of the late T. W.
and E. A. M. Redman, and brother of W. J. Red-
man, of Wayville; T. H. W. Redman, of Charra;
and Mrs. J. G Reedman, of Gilberton; leaving a
sorrowing wife to mourn her sad loss. At rest.
GIVENS.—On the 16th October, at Gilbert-street,
Bowden, Mary Givens, leaving three sons and three
daughters to mourn their sad loss. A long sufferer
at rest. Aged 70 years.
REDMAN.—On the 5th November, at Sydney,
N.S.W., Robert, aged 36.
BROWN.—On the 5th November, as his resi-
dence, Elizabeth-street, Parkside, Roy Alfred, be-
loved son of John George and Madia Brown, aged
24 years. At rest.
BARKER.—On the 5th November, at the Ade-
laide Hospital, William Barker, late of New
Chicago, aged 72 years.

sister, Hetty, who died November 6, 1909.—In-
