The Schools At Work And Play 'Many sporting activities of the primary schools were postponed this week because of the tram strike.

GRIADES IV and V at the 3Mow bray School .will hold a concert to provide funds to obtain a clock for the scl.ool. A tuck shop was held early in the wek and £3 was raised. A concert was held in'the infadts' room and tCi proceeds used to buy materials f6r the children's handiwork. HOLIDAYS in primary schools will begin on August 28, and the new term commences on Sep tember 10. THlE "Trevallyn School . Mothers' Club held its annual meeting 'ast week. A presentation was made to the secretary (Mrs. S. Barry), who h leaving Tasmania shortly to live in Victoria. Mr. A. A. Hnustein is at present relieving headmaster at Trevallyn School.
