second son of the late Arthur Malcom, to Maud
Rose, eldest daughter of J. H. Aldridge, of Rich-
mond Park, S.A.
WEINERT—McFADDEN.-On the 25th July, at
the residence of the bride's parents, Boulder City,
W.A., by the Rev. Collick, Frederick C., second
son of John S. Weinert, Bowhill, River Murray,
to Ethel Elizabeth, third daughter of Mr. McFad-

SMITH—MORAN.-On the 16th September, at
Goodwood, by the Rev. W. S. Rollings, William
H., only surviving son of the late John Smith,
late of Goodwood and Leamington Spa, England,
to Rose Esther, only daughter of M. Moran, Ade-
laide.
DEATHS.
JARRETT.-On the 10th October, at Dale street,
Port Adelaide, William Mathew, the beloved hus-
band of Ellen Mary, aged 45 years, leaving a
widow, three sons, and four daughters to mourn

CAWLEY.-On the 15th October, at Rose Park,
Benjamin Henry Albion, beloved husband of Eliza-
beth Cawley, aged 87 years. A colonist of 70
years.
FANNING.-On the 15th October, at "Galty
More," Young-street, Parkside, Eleanor, relict of
the late James Fanning, and loving mother of
Catherine Fanning, aged 65 years. So dearly

JOHNSTONE.—On the 8th September, at South
Balaklava, Elizabeth Johnstone (nee Beverland),
beloved wife of Hugh Johnstone, sen., in her 75th
year Born Wigtonshire, Scotland. Scotch and

GARE.-On the 15th October, Henry Edward, the
beloved hnsband of Harriet Gare, of 71, Brown-
street, Adelaide, aged 53 years. Chester and Lan-

DANIELS.-On the 16th October, at Mundalla,
Joseph, dearly beloved husband of Amy Daniels
(nee Wiese), eldest son of the late Augustus
Daniels, of Dinyarrack, Victoria, aged 39 years,
leaving wife and two children to mourn their sad
