authenticated by the name and address of the

BIRTHS.
POOLE. —On the 3rd July, at Regent-street,
Parkside, to Mr. and Mrs. Harold Poole —a son.
SWINCER. —On the 1st July, at Gilles-street,
Adelaide, to Mr. and Mrs. A. Swincer —a daugh-
ter.
McEVOY. —On the 21st June, at Balaklava, the
wife of Robert P. McEvoy, of a son. Both well.
MARRIAGES.
CHARLTON—WIEDEMANN. —On the 10th June,
at St. Paul's Church, Adelaide, by Rev. E. H.
Blebjy, Frederick Walter Charlton, late of Wil-
mington, and eldest son of F. Charlton, Prospect,
to Lucinda Stella, third daughter of August Emil
Wiedemann, late of Mannum.
HALL—READ. —On the 17th June, at the Eurelia
Methodist Church, by the Rev. F. Edmund Trot-
ter, Charles Laurence, son of Charles Hall, Eurelia,
to Ethel Maud, eldest daughter of William Henry
Read, Eurelia.
BARRETT—PORTER. —On the 23rd April, at the
Methodist Church, Terowie, by the Rev. R. H.
Lee, Gilbert, eldest son of the late Francis Thomas
Barrett, to Annie Lilla, eldest daughter of Andrew
Allan Porter, of Petersburg.
DEATHS.
DUNLEVIE. —On the 9th July, at Waratah, Al-
tert-street, Hyde Park, Kate Margaret, the eldest
daughter of the late Daniel Dunlevie, R.I.P.
GRAY. —On the 6th July, at Ridleyton, Thomas
Laurance, eldest surviving son of Clara and the
late John Gray, aged 27 years. R.I.P.
STONE. —On the 9th July, at "Farley," East
terrace, of heart failure, James Doveton Stone,
aged 77 years.
SHARPE. —On the 6th July, at the Adelaide
Hospital, George G., dearly beloved husband of
Elsie D. Sharpe, and second son of the late W.
C. and A. Sharpe, through accident and pneu-
monia. A long sufferer gone to rest.
BURT. —On the 8th of July, at his residence,
Angle Vale, Robert, beloved husband of Barbara
Burt, aged 66 years.
AMOS. —On the 7th July, at Thomas-street, Un-
ley, Joseph, the beloved husband of the late J.
M. Amos, aged 85.
ROESNER. —On the 9th July, suddenly, at the
residence of Mrs. L. Gerick, Richmond street,
Kensington, Pauline Johanna Ernestine, relict of
the late August Gotlieb Roesner, aged 72 years.
IN MEMORIAM.
ZERK. —In loving memory of our dear father,
J. Zerk, who died near Lyndoch, 7th of July,
