Announcements under this heading must be
authenticated by names and address of the
sender, and are inserted at a charge of Two
Shilling and Sixpence each when not ex-
ceeding five lines: over five lines Sixpence per

BIRTHS.
MORGAN.-On the 13th July, to Mr. and Mrs.
Charles Morgan, Port Pirie-a son
SHEPHERD. -On the 1st August, at No. 5, Her-
mann- street, off Gilbert street, Adelaide, the wife
of F. W. Shepherd, of a son. Both doing well.
JACKA.- On 8th August, to Mr. and Mrs.
F. M Jacka, "Meldreth" Rose-street, Mile-End
—a son ( Ellis Oswald).
TRENWITH-VIAL.- on the 10th July, at the
Victoria square Methodist Church, Kadina, by the
Rev. Rush, Ernest E., eldest son of Thomas Tren-
with, Kadina, to Winnifred, second daughter of
John Vial, Wallaroo Mines.
SIMS-MITCHELL.-On the 6th August, by Rev.
Father Kelly, with nuptial mass and blessing, at
the residence of the bride's father, Albert John,
son of Mrs. John Sims, Mundoora, to Nellie,
eldest daughter of William Mitchell,"Burraslen,"
hundred of Cummins.
DEATHS.
LARKEY.- On the 3rd August, at his residence,
Woodhine Cottage, Clare Patrick, dearly beloved
husband of Margaret Larkey, aged 75 years. R.I.P.
A colonist of 58 years. Arrived in ship Marion,
August, 1851.
DUNEMANN.—On the 10th July, at her resi-
dence, Copperhouse, Johanna Ernestine, aged 83,
relict of the late Wm. Dunemann, for many years
landlord of the Racecourse Hotel, Copperhouse,
and an old colonist having arrived in South Aus-
tralia when the Burra Burra mine first started.

BAKER.- On the 8h August, at Salisbury,
Catherine, the beloved wife of George Baker, aged
54 years. Sleep on, beloved, and take thy rest. R.I.P
WILKEY. - On the 3rd August, at Millbrook, the
result of a burning accident, Ruby, beloved
daughter of W. and M. Wilkey, aged 17 years.
McCOLL. - On the 25th July, at her sister's (Miss
A. McColl) residence, Hindley-street, Catherine Mc-
Coll, third daughter of late Hector McColl,
late of Grace Plains, and sister to the late Rev.
Farther McColl, of Oban, Argyleshire, Scotland,
aged 78 years. R.I.P. Home papers please copy.
