Sydney-Three young: men will leave Sydney next month for Cape York to hunt the world's second largest venemous snake -the Taipan.
They are Roy McKay C21), cadet preparator at the Australian Mu- seum; Kevin Budden (19), a stew- ard; and Neville Goddard (20), a carpenter.
The trip will last about six weeks and they expect their expenses to be £35 a head.
From Sydney they will go by train to Cairns and then fly to Coen, 250 miles to the north-west, which will be their headquarters.
