Princess Died in Comp LONDON.- The Italian Princess Maf- aida, youngest daughter of King Vic- tor Emmanuel, of Italy, died in the in- famous Buchenwald concentration camp, where she was imprisoned by the Ges- tapo after her German husband, Prince Philip of Hesse, had denounced her to the, Gestapo for her anti-Nazi sympathies, says Reuter's correspond ent. Prince Phlipp's base action did not save him from the Gestapo, and later he was put into the Widlsee prison camp near Obbiac, where he was found by Am- erican First Army troops when, they reached the camp area. He is now being held by the Allies pending a decision on his fate. He was an ardent Nazi, and may even join his dead wife if found guilty of atrocities.
