The promising young Western Sub u-bs A grade batsman, Noel Wright las joined the R.A.A.F. He left Bris -ane last night to visit his parents at Bundaberg. He will leave for the South on Mon day. Wright, who is 21, played well for Bundaberg and Wide Bay, and after wards joined Western Suburbs. Last season his best score was 115 against University. This season Wright had a club aver age of 34.
