Expenditure Being Reviewed.

Discontinuance of the Ucttcr Farming Train as a measure of economy in the pre- sent depression is not being considered by the Railways department. Ollicials of the department expressed surprise at the re port that some farmers bad criticised the expense incurred in the conduct of the train. They claim that, althouKk the train was not revenue producing, it liad beim of great benefit to the farming community.
