Windsor, last season's pre miers, will play Ascot at Perry. Park. South Brisbane will meet Taringa at Windsor Park, and Kedron has the bye. . . Teams from the reserve grade will play the curtain-raisers to both games. The cup round will not be conducted on last year's knockout principle. The games played will constitute the first round of premiership fixtures, and the leading team at the conclusion of the first round will take the cup trophy.
