MEETING OP THE W.A. FOOTBALL
The annual meeting of the members of the Football Association, was held at Mr. Strick- land's Hotel ou Monday evening. There was a good attendance. Mr, Chipper read a let- ter from the West Australian Football Club asking to be admitted into the Association. Mr. Ogborne proposed, and Mr. Birch seconded, that the club should become a mem- ber of the Association. Thé resolution was carried. Messrs, Mansfield, Bamsay, and MoDonough, delegates of the West Austra- lian Fcotbal Club, were then invited into the room to take part in the business of the meet- ing. It was proposed by Mr. Ogborne, and seconded by Mr. Nugent, that Mr. Bamsay be made-Hon. Secretary of the Association. The resolution was carried, lt was proposed by Mr. S. J. Chipper, and seconded by Mr. Ogborne, that the W.A.F.C. play with 20 men. An amendment was proposed by Mr. Bamsay, and seconded by Mr. Mansfield, that the W.A.F.C. be allowed to play with 23 men they being all juniors. The original resolu- tion was carried. It was announced that the colours of the W.A.F.C. wonld .be red and black hoops. Mr. W. Spooner was elected
It was arranged that the meetings of the delegates should take place at Fremantle and Perth alternately. The Union FC. asked leave to change their colors to red and white (bar) and permission was given. The follow- ing matches we rear ranged :
