The Annual Meeting of the Football As- sociation was held at the United Service Hotel, on Wednesday evening last, Mr. H. Moseley taking the chair. All thi Clubs were well represented, and a good amonnt of business was got through. It was decided to instruct the Central Umpire in Rnles with regard to rough play, &c., which if broken must be reported to the Association, who in- tend dealing stringently with such cases. Several other good suggestions were passed, and the following bye-law was adopted:-That any member of any club whose subscription is in arreas for last sea- son (1887) be not allowed to join or play with another club until such subscription be paid. Any club allowing a member so de- barred to play shall be disqualified in the match in which such member plays, providing throe days notice shall have been given to
The following office-bearers were elected for the ensuing season ;-Patron-Dr. Hope, President-E. Keane, Esq., Vico-Presidente Messrs. J. R. North, B. C. Wood, W. E. Marmion, D. K. Congdon.L. C. Olliver, R. S. Wilkinson, W. G. Hearman, D. W. Harwood, Hon. J. A. Wright, and W. H. Strickland. Chairman of Committees, Geo. Leake, Esq. Hon. Secretary and Treasurer, Mr. S. J. Randell. Field umpire, Mr. C. Bishop. Goal umpires (Perth), Messrs. Prendergast and J. Lawrenoe. Goal umpire (Fremantle), Mr J. Kelly. Timekeepers (Perth), Messrs. Grundy and Thomas. Timekeeper (Freman- tle), Mr. W. A. Payne.
The following are the fixtures settled for coming season :
May 12.-Victorians v. Unions at Fremantle;
