Creditors Aire In Full Cry
From A Stafl Correspondent
in London
ERROL FLYNN, at present being hotly pursued in Italy by hordes of actors and film folk demand- ing money, declares they are "worse than angry women," according to a report from Rome.
JOLYNN insists that
he is not to blame
for his "William Tell"
j film unit going unpaid.
I "Certain Italians who are
responsible for financing the film have run out on me," he says. t .
I Meanwhile^' however,
truckloads of penniless
actors and technicians are chasing Flynn ali over Italy for their money. They have not been paid for six weeks -ever since finances went bust in an alpine village near Mont Blanc, Italy, where they were then on location.
Looking somewhat shat- tered, bedraggled and-mid- dle-aged, Flynn declares he will do all he can to get pay
ment for all and also finish the picture, which experts
say would have . been a.*. masterpiece. Jack Cardiff was directing, and Flynn was William Tell.
A magnificent £10,000
model town had been built. .
