Appeal trith appeal!
What is appeal? Answer: This picture. Anyone who says, "Oh, the photographer , put a pretty girl among those tins," can
guess again. The pretty girl, Lyn Sains- bury, really was among the collection tins for the May appeal for Victoria's 16,000 sub-normal children when our photographer called yesterday. Lyn works for the ap
peal, and she was checking the tins. The result was this picture - an appeal pic- ture with appeal. One that makes you stop, and look, and think: "That's a good picture." There are thousands of these tins scattered throughout Victoria. You will find them on shop counters, in hotel bars, and many other places. Our mentally retarded children need your help badly.
. If this picture en- courages you to send a donation to the Vic- torian Helping Hand
Association for Sub-j
normal Children, room 6, fourth floor, 327Í
Collins st., then it will have gained just that
much additional im-j
portance.
