O decision has yet been reached regard-
CauJ- Ing the suggestion at the meetins. 01
the National Ice Hockey Council at Sydney
last week that Interstate games be held
annually in Sydney and Melbourne. The
present arrangements are for each Stale
lo visit in alternate years.
It was decided lo leave the decision in
the hands of the managements of the respective
rinks. If they are agreeable the
Ice Hockey Associations will make a decision.
It does not seem possible at present for
each team to make the trip yearly, The
cost is considerable and often Is the
of players being unable to go.
It Is unlikely that a Canadian team
will visit Australia, as any team would
require a financial guarantee to cover al'
enses during the tour. TWs would in-
the council In heavy expenditure.
