ALLIES ARREST GERMAN DUKE
Victoria's Grandson
NUREMBERG, Nov. 29 (A.A.P.).-Charles Edward, Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, who is a grandson of Queen Victoria,
has been arrested by the Allied Military Government.
The Duke, who is 61, is in hos- pital suffering from gout, but is under guard. He was regarded as one of the richest men in Germany until all his estates were confiscated by the
Allies.
Piesident of the German Red Cross and a general of Storm Troopers, the Duke was long regarded as a Nazi showpiece to prove to the world that German aristocracy favoured the Nazi regime.
