TENABLE AT UNIVERSITY.
The Bursary Endowment Board has awarded bur- saries tenable at the University of Sydney to the following candidates upon the results of the Leaving
Ivor Lennox Pinkerton (Sydney Boys' High School), Alfred H. Pollard (Canterbury High School), Allan W. R. Wheatley (Fort-street Boys' High School), Rita H. Harradence (St. George Girls' High School), Desmond Akehurst (Canterbury High School), George Read (Canterbury High School), John C. Yager (Sydney Boys' High School), Darcy Gilmour (Canterbury High School).
The award in each carries a monetary grant, and Is subject to the candidates' having qualified for matriculation, being under the age of 19 years at the date of examination, and producing satisfactory testimonials of character from the principals of the schools they have attended. It Is not open to the bursary winner to hold also a Teachers' College scholarship.

Hackney (Sydney Girls' High School), Winifred E. Wilson (St. George Girls' High School), Victor J. Callanan (Marist Brothers' High School, Darlinghurst), Jack Anderton (New-
castle High School).
These bursaries are tenable for two years, and carry an annual grant of from £14 to £19 to bursars able to reside at home, and of £40 to those obliged to board away from home.
