The schooner Agnes Jessie has made a splendid run of 57 hours from Launceston, She left at 1 p m, on the 26th instant, and hove to off these Heads at 10 p m. on the 28th, and reports a heavy southerly gale throughout, with a fearfully high sea, She passed a deep laden barque hove to off Cape Howe.

The brig Louisa, and schooner Sarah Ann, both well known colonial traders, will be sold by auction, on Thursday morning, by Messrs. L. E. Threlkeld and Co., at their Rooms, 362, George street.

The Montmorency, from Liverpool, with immigrants, signalled  

off the port yesterday, has not been sighted from the Heads since

she stood off.

The clipper schooner Colonist, Captain Scaplehorn, has just completed one of the fastest passages on record, having been only   65 days from Foo Chow to this port, and has completed his voyage   in four months and a half, thus proving the vessel to be possessed       of no ordinary sailing qualities.
