Backing vocals move up front
VIKA AND Linda Bull have been
well known in the Australian mu sic scene for years as the back up singers for Joe Camilleri and The Black Sorrows but now they're ready
to strike out on their' own.
The sisters will release their solo al bum, Vika-and Linda, a mix of blues, reggae, rock and country-flavoured of ferings, in late April this year. .
Vika, who is taking a well-earned break before hitting the road to pro mote the new album, said that after singing backing vocals for the Black Sorrows for seven years; she and s Linda felt it was time to branch out on their own. They will play; at the Food and Wine Frolic on Sunday and at Tilleys on Monday.

ANU Bar and it looks like being BIG. The Whitlams, known for their quirky lyrics and boppy beat, are riding high on the success of their EP Gough. Ve suvia, known for their"melodic, sonic, moody groove stuff" are on the verge of releasing their -own CD, Fear of a Flannel Planet. It starts at 8pm.

Bargearse was first- created when co medians from,The Late Show look the 70's cop show Bluey and dubbed their own lines over those of Lucky Grills, who played the lead.
