VOL LIQUIDATION OF
BAY STEAMERS LTD
Shareholders of Bay Steamers Ltd have decided to place the company in voluntary liquidation.* Mr George H. Evans, secretary, of the company, has been appointed liquidator.'
Losses of £3,633 and £1,102 were incurred by the company in 1941-42 and 1942-43 respectively. These com- pared with profits of £1,722 in 1940-41, £3,528 in 1939-40, and £2,292 in 1938-39.^
The steamer Weeroona, which was owned and operated by the com- pany, was acquired by Government authorities as from Marchr 17 last. Assets include «shares in companies, £13,385; fixed deposit of £1,000, and debentures £350. Capital is £17,500 in 5/ shares.
