TREATY WITH YEMEN
Remove Causes Of Friction
LONDON. February 15.
In the House 'of Lords to-day Lord Plymouth said that the treaty algned a few days ago between- the British Resident Minister in Aden and the Iman of Yemen dealt with several matters which had caused friction for some years. The treaty was for 40 years, and guaranteed the independ- ence of the King of Yemen and the maintenance of peace and friendship between the contracting parties. Great credit, said Lord Plymouth, was due to the British Resident Mmlster for having at last negotiated a treaty.
