The Governor-General, Sir John Kerr arrived in Brisbane from Canberra yesterday, and received a ceremonial welcome at Brisbane Airport. He was welcomed by the Governor of Queensland, Sir'Colin Hannah, and his wife and the Premier of Queensland, Mr Bjelke-Peter sen, and his wife.
Later, the Governor-General was guest of honour at a Cabi net 1 luncheon given by the Government of Queensland at
the Executive Building in Bris

Later, the Governor-General
attended a press reception at Government House and after wards attended a State Govern ment reception at the Lennons Plaza Hotel, Brisbane.
