I WOOL TRAIN

Tour Begins To-day

Organised by the Wool Week committee, with the co-operation of the Victorian Railways Commissioners, who have made two lecture cars of the Better Farming ' train available, and the Victorian Country Women's Assoclotlon, who have provided the expert demonstrators, the Wool De- monstration train will leave to-day on a tour of the provincial centres in Victoria, visiting 10 towns en route. The demon- strations will include dresscutting, uphol- stery, rugs, soft toys, spinning and weav- ing, gloves, quilt-maklng, and mattress stuffing. The tour will be directed by Mrs. A. S. Morton, and the demonstrators are Mrs. Peake, soft toys; Miss M. H. Christie, upholstery and gloves; Mrs. Balley, dresscutting; Miss D. Roche (Flin- ders), rugs and gloves; Miss L. Stewart (Beaufort), mattress-stuffing; Miss B. Cook (Mortlake), spinning and weaving. The following is the programme of the tour: - October 3, Seymour; October 4 and 5. Mansfield; October 6, Yea; October 8, Shepparton; October 9, Murchison; October 10 and 11, Rushworth; October 12, Nagambie; October 13, Euroa; October 15, Benalla; October 10, Wangaratta. De- monstrations will be held morning and afternoon at each town.
