  2. CASINO'S DIAMOND JUBILEE SHOW OPENED

    Deputising for the Assistant Minister (Major Shand), Mr. J. T. Reid, M.L.A., officially opened the Casino show yesterday. The amplifiers in the centre of the ring were used for the ceremony. Among the spectators were several men who had attended the first show in Casino 60 years ago and had since been loyal supporters of the society. Mr. Reid is in the centre of the group, and on his right is the president of the society (Mr. H. R. Imeson). ... [ILLUSTRATED]
