The destruction of furze and blackberry is a vital problem on many farms in the Adelaide hills and southern districts, and in New Zealand the two pests are a definite check to economic farming. While no completely satisfactory method of eradicationhas yet been found, there are certain steps which may be undertaken to alleviate the position.
