    WHISTLING FOXES TO THEIR DOOM. This extraordinary photograph shows Jack Minogue shooting foxes on Sir Sidney Kidman's Innamincka Station. Jack enticed the foxes within range by whistling them. As the picture shows he has already despatched four, while a fifth, in response to the whistle, is bounding towards certain death. In a letter to Mr. Spencer Williams, Minogue writes:—"My mate, J. Collins, who took the snap from under cover behind me, found it very difficult to get the picture of a running fox without exposing himself and camera. I have used the decoy whistle in the back country for more than 12 years, and claim that any fox within half a mile radius is easy game. I have seen as many as five running ... [ILLUSTRATED]
