    Bellarion, who has been trained by I. Reid, has been turned out for a brief spell. Lady Primrose, winner of the Galway MELBOURNE'S GREAT SPRING RACING CARNIVAL was opened on Saturday at Caulfield. Guineas Day provided good racing. A stirring finish was seen in the Guineas. Our picture shows the leaders of the field at the distance. Green Wave, winner, is leading The Doctor's Orders, Axinus, Rigadoon, and Scintillation. THE LAST FENCE WAS UNLUCKY for the leader (Ferner), in the Unley Park Steeple at Morphettville. Just after this photograph was taken he fell and threw his rider, who, fortunately, was not seriously hart. Mount Cooper (second) and [?] (third) kept those positions passing the post, but Kilronan, running last, forged ahead and won the event. ... [ILLUSTRATED]
