    Silent—white—beautiful—this unique structure was erected on North-terraee by the Central War Loan Committee and the Adelaide Cement Co., Limited, Birkenhead. The Adelaide Cement Co. generously defrayed the coat. The effect at night, when the floodlights are switched on, is [?] beautiful. This building was erected as a reminder of the Thrift our people are asked to practise by investing their savings in the Seventh War Loan and thus insuring a glorious victory in the great World conflict. It is hopes that arrangements can be made to permit the "Bank" to remain in its present position until peace is declared.
