    THIS PANORAMA of Whyalla, taken a few days ago, shows, on the extreme right, the blast furnace, and, at the end of the constructed isthmus, the ship yards. In the vicinity is the power house which well be replaced by a larger one near the blast furnace. Conspicuous in the residential centre are the Institute, Presbyterian Church, and two hotels.
