    Mr. W. R. Komball's Metro (W. Broughton), with one of the barrier ropes in his mouth, breaking the line before tho start of the Marlbyrnong Trial Stakes for colts and geldings at Flemington on Saturday. The race was delayed by fractiousness at the barrier. A few seconds after the photograph had been taken J.
