    The photograph on the felt shows The Castic at Edwardstown before the picturesque old old landmark began to crumble, and the other picture taken on Monday of its present condition. Known as Babbidge Hall it was built by Mr. B. H. Babbidge 1873 and stands in 290 acres of ground. The man porch fell a an earthquake about 30 years ago, and the house has Hot been inhabited since 1876. Owing to the fact that no damp courses were built in walls have fretted. The hall, has descended to the present owner through Miss Ada Babbidge, a daughter of Mr. B. H. Babbidge. Mr. Babbidge, who was a civil engineer, came to South Australia in 1831.
