  2. Royalty's Land Busy Day in Adelaide.

    His Royal Highness the Duke of York was invested with the degree of Doctor of Laws at the Adelaide University on Wednesday morning with all due pomp and ceremony. His Royal Highness was given a magnificent, receptic. when he rose to respond to the welcome. In the course of his remarks he pleaded for an interchange of professors and students between the various portions of the Empire. The photograph on the left shows the royal visitor being received at the entrance to the University building by the Chancellor of the University (Sir George Murray) and the Vice-Chancellor (Sir Willaim Mitchell). The Duke Is shaking hands with the Vice-chancellor. In the picture on the the right are Professor Sir Douglas Mawson leading, Professor T. G. B.   3. PRESSMEN IN THE HILL COUNTRY.

    The press representatives accompanying the royal party, interstate newspaper men, and representatives of the local press were given by the State Government a motor four in the hills, with dinner at Stirling.
