The biggest crowd ever seen at the Adelaide Oval attended the school children's demonstration held on Tuesday in connection with the visit of the Duke and Duchess of York. It is estimated that about 60,000 citizens, with 12,000 school pupils engaged in the programme, were present. Many thousands of others could not gain admittance. Our photograph shows the arrival of the royal motor car in front of the members' grandstand, in which the royal box was located.
