    Five large overseas liners required berthing accommodation yesterday at Prince's Pier, Port Melbourne, which has space for only four. The picture shows the Medic and Orsova lying on the west side of the pier, and the Sophocles at the outer east berth. Later in the evening the Comorin occupied the other berth. To provide more berthing space the Harbour Trust is rebuilding the Station Pier, which is on the left of the picture. At the end of the pier may be seen the heads of piles which are being taken out to make room for the new structure.
