    This vessel is being built by the State Implement Works at the South Wharf, Fremantle. The work when completed will provide-two extra berths for steamers.   3. Some Interesting Views Taken in 1897

    The two spires noticeable on the right are those of Trinity Church. A view of the Threadneedle-street front of the Bank of England (London) as it is to be reconstructed to the designs of Mr. Herbert Baker, A.R.A., architect, and Mr. F. W. Troup, associated architect. The rebuilding of the bank, which will occupy several years, has now been in progress six months, work having been begun in November.
