    While hundreds of disappointed tourists failed to reach the mountain snows during the holiday week-end, a few determined adventurers succeeded in finding on the slopes of Donna Buang (4,080ft.) the conditions they were seeking. The first snow was met four miles from Warburton after strenuous climbing through heavy mud. The trip from Warburton and back took nine hours. On Sunday 33 tourists reached the snow, and on Monday about 20. They found IBIn. after a light fall on Sunday, and engaged in snowballing and snow "fights" on the mountain slopes.
